What is the hide-the-leaderboard feature?

The hide the leaderboard feature lets you hide the rankings and scores from participants. The leaderboard can be made visible then hidden, hidden then visible, remain visible, or remain hidden for the whole Experience!

Why would I want to use the hide-the-leaderboard feature?

Hiding the leaderboard is a great way to play around with how the competitive aspect of your Experience is managed. For example:

  • Focus less on the competition aspect and more on the Experience and having fun

  • Less discouraging for participants who feel like they are too far behind

  • Create mystery and intrigue over the standings

  • Make the Experience more accessible to any level of participation from participants
