Are Experiences public or private?

Updated over 6 months ago

Experience can be public or private. As the creator you can control the Experience's privacy settings as follows:

Search Visibility

By default, your Experience your Experience will be set to Hidden from the search results when a participant searches by name. They will only be able to find the Experience if you share with them the Join Code.

This setting can be changed on the Details tab under the Create section of your Experience.

If you want your Experience to be easily discoverable by others, make sure the Search Visibility is changed to 'Available in search results'. This will allow your Experience to show up in search results by name for other users to join.

Password

You have the ability to choose if you'd like to put a password on your Experience to make it private, or leave it blank if you'd like to leave it open for anyone to join!

You'll be able to add a password on the details tab of the Studio. Participants must enter this password in order to join the Experience.

By controlling your Experience's privacy settings, you can ensure that your Experience is only accessible to those you want to share it with. Whether you want to keep it private or make it easily discoverable, the choice is yours. Happy creating!
