How does Teams mode work?
In team mode, participants join the same team from their own devices.
Once a participant from a team completes a mission, that mission shows as completed for the whole team. A Mission can only be completed once for the team.
Points will be tallied for the team as whole, and displayed with the team name and team photo on the Leaderboard. It is not possible to see which member submitted which submission (although this is something we are working towards!).

How many teams can I have?
The total number of teams is dependent on the type of plan or upgrade you have. Below is an overview of the plans we offer on our website. If you are unsure of the limits on your account, please contact our support team.
Free Recreational: A total of 3 leaderboard spots
3 Teams of 5 participants
3 Individual participants
Or a combination of the two
Individual upgrades(only applies to 1 Experience)
Starter: A total of 8 leaderboard spots
8 teams of 5 participants
8 individual participants
Or a combination of the two
Professional: A total of 8 leaderboard spots
20 teams of 5 participants
20 individual participants
Or a combination of the two
Educational plans
Free EDU Basic: 5 teams total
5 teams of 5 participants
EDU Plus: 40 total participants
EDU Plus plan is designed to accommodate 10 teams, each with 4 devices. To provide our educators with even more flexibility though, we allow any combination of individuals and team size that add up to a total of 40 mobile devices.
School-wide 500: 500 participants
500 participants total in any combination
How many devices can join a team?
The number of devices is determined by the number of participants you can have based on your plan or upgrade.
1 participants = 1 device.
Can team members message each other?
Participants cannot message each other within the app. We recommend having participants communicate outside of the app using messaging apps if needed.
Can I message my participants?
Yes! You can message participants via the Broadcasts tab (under the create section), Full instructions available here.
Can I collect participant contact details?
Prior to your Experience starting, you can contact our support team (with your Experience name) to enable the email collection feature for your Experience.
At this time, we do not collect names or contact information outside of email addresses. If you were looking to collect these details, we recommend creating a Text Mission asking participants for their name or contact information.
