As the Experience creator, you can schedule messages to be sent to participants throughout your Experience in one of two ways, either through the Script tab or from the Leaderboard tab.


Scheduling Automations

There are two ways to schedule a message to be released using automations.

Option 1: Via the Script tab

  1. In the Experience Manager, navigate to the Script tab and select “+ Add Automation”.

Option 2: Via the Leaderboard tab

  1. In the Experience Manager, navigate to the Leaderboard tab. In the ‘Send a Message” box in the top right corner, select the down arrow beside “Select a Team”.

  2. Click “Send To All Participants”.

  3. Select the down arrow beside “Send”.

  4. Select “Schedule via Automation”.


Creating the automation

  1. Once you begin to create an automation either through the Script tab or Leaderboard tab settings, a pop-up will open. Enter the following information:

    • Automation name: For example - “Day 1 Message”

    • What do you want to happen: “Send Message to All Participants”

    • Message: Enter the message you would like to send to all participants.

  2. Once you’ve added the message you would like to have under this automation, select “Next”.

  3. Choose the time you would like the message to be released and select “Create”.

    • Relative Time - Use this option to select a time relative to the start or end time of the Experience.

    • Exact Time - Use this option to select a specific time that the automation will trigger.
