The leaderboard is ranked from the most points to the least points (top to bottom). If participants have the same amount of points, for example, you have 3 participants in 2nd place, they will then be ranked alphabetically.

When ties happen on a leaderboard the next “place” skips to include the tied players. This would look something like this:

1st - Alyshahn

2nd - Allan

2nd- Kris

2nd - Shara

5th - Mia

You can see Allan, Kris and Shara are tied, and ranked alphabetically. While Mia is in 5th place because there are 4 people ahead of her in the ranking.
