How are points ranked on the leaderboard?

Updated this week

How is the leaderboard ranked?

The leaderboard is ranked from the most points to the least points (top to bottom).

If participants have the same amount of points, for example, you have 3 participants in 2nd place, they will be ranked by which participant reached that point value first:

1st - Mia

2nd - Erin (last submission made at 10:00)

2nd- Alex (last submission made at 10:30)

2nd - Joe (last submission made at 11:00)

What happens on the leaderboard if there is a tie?

When ties happen on a leaderboard the next โ€œplaceโ€ skips to include the tied players. This would look something like this:

1st - Mia

2nd - Erin

2nd- Alex

2nd - Joe

5th - Adam

You can see Allan, Craig and Shara are tied. While Adam is in 5th place because there are 4 people ahead of him in the ranking.

Fun Fact! This is the same way that the Olympics ranks their athletes. ๐Ÿฅ‡
