Is it possible to switch teams in an Experience?

To switch teams, you will need to leave your Goosechase Experience and then re-join it and the correct team from the mobile app.

As a heads up, when you leave your Goosechase Experience, any of your submissions will be permanently deleted, along with any associated points. To avoid losing any content before switching teams, we recommend first downloading any submissions that you made. You can do so by following <a href="https://support.goosechase.com/en/articles/6688292-how-do-i-download-a-submission-from-the-app">these instructions</a>.

Once you have downloaded any content you want to save, follow these instructions to leave your Experience:

1. Click the home button in the top corner of the app

2a. If you are playing on the Android mobile version of the app. Hold your finger down on the Experience you wish to leave and select "Leave Experience" ​

2b. If you are playing on the iOS mobile app or desktop version of the app. Use two fingers on the trackpad and swipe from right to left on the Experience you wish to leave

3. Select "Leave/Confirm" on the alert that appears

4. You can now rejoin the Experience and the correct team.

Teams may be locked for a couple of reasons. Either they have reached their full capacity, or a team passcode is required. ​ If you need the capacity on a team increased or the team passcode, please reach out to the <a href="https://support.goosechase.com/en/articles/6321938-how-do-i-contact-the-creator-of-my-goosechase-experience">creator of the Experience </a>directly

Why is the new team I want to join locked?

No, it is not currently possible to carry over your current progress to your new team. If you need to switch teams, your current progress will be deleted.
