Scheduling your Experience to Start and End
Timing is everything when it comes to creating excitement and managing participation. Choose when your Experience begins and ends to maximize engagement.
Launch Now: Your Experience goes live immediately when you click 'Go Live.' Perfect for spontaneous events or when you're ready to begin right away.
Scheduled Launch: Set a specific date and time for automatic launch. Ideal for planned events, allowing participants to join early while the Experience remains inactive until your chosen moment.
Use the calendar function to select your date and enter the time in 00:00 AM/PM format for precise scheduling.
Duration-Based Ending: Set your Experience to run for a specific length of time after launch. The Experience automatically ends when the duration expires, regardless of when it started:
30 minutes for quick team builders
3 hours for event activities
12 days for extended events
2 weeks for ongoing programs
4 months+ for long-term engagement
Scheduled Ending: Choose a specific date and time for your Experience to conclude. This gives you precise control over when participants can no longer submit missions, perfect for events with fixed schedules.
Launching your Expeirence
Once you've configured all settings, you're ready to launch your Experience and watch the engagement unfold.
For Scheduled Experiences: Click 'Schedule' to set your Experience to automatically launch at your chosen date and time. Participants can join early and will receive notifications when the Experience begins.
For Immediate Launch: Click 'Go Live' to instantly activate your Experience. Participants can immediately start completing missions and earning points.
After launching, your Experience is active, and participants can begin engaging with your missions!

Can I add Missions after launching?
Yes, you can continue to add Missions after your Experience had begun. We recommend setting those Missions to Draft Mode (under your Missions availability settings) as you work on them. This will prevent them from being visible to participants until you are ready.

Goosechase will prevent you from setting an end time before your start time. Always verify your schedule settings before finalizing your launch.

Yes! Participants can join at any time before or during an active Experience. However, they may be at a disadvantage compared to participants who started earlier, depending on your mission structure if they join after it launches.

Participants who have already joined will see missions become available in their app. For scheduled launches, consider sending a broadcast message to notify participants when you're about to go live.
